Red roses

If Angels represent love, what does the Devil stands for?
He is reflected as a monster, yet there is where the beauty is hidden.
Depicted between Babylon and the walls of Babel, spreading lies and pain
he fell in love.He fell in love with the whore.
He took his human form.Dressed in black velvet with his grey eyes
wondering around the ruins of human minds he saw her.
Her long black hair and her big black eyes.
A fit and perfect stitch.
He had her for one night,he paid the price, but it wasn't enough.
Oh how he cried and sobbed every night,in floods of tears so well defined.
"I would have been casted,I would have died,a thousand times
just to feel her breath on my neck for one more time,as a servant lover
rather than spying her in the arms of others".
This whose beauty fostered poets, she had to be his,she had to dance with the devil.
He was able to wait,an eternity, that after all meant nothing to the evil but yet beautiful creature.
He approached her one more time, and she made her make the deal.
She asked for eternal youth and beauty, and the price was of course her everlasting soul.
Ten years he had to wait.Day by day he was crucified.
The day came, she was still fine and juvenile as she was when he first saw her.
The whore.
Life is unfair, this figment, her beauty that made the Devil fall in love, was born a whore.
She danced with the Devil, till the earth opened in two and swallowed them.
She danced with the Devil 'till she was dead.
Since then, the Devil spreads red roses above Babylon.
Red roses for the devil's whore.
